Concept: Dodge the colorful but crazy fish as they swim around the screen trying to eat you.
How to Play:
- The player controls a small fish with arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right to avoid colliding with the AI-controlled “mad fish.”
- The mad fish have various gameplay attributes:
- Different sizes
- Various random movement patterns
- Some chase the player while others move randomly
- Occasional “rage mode” where they temporarily speed up
- As the player survives longer, the game gets progressively harder by adding more mad fish and increasing their speed/unpredictability.
Gameplay Environment: Aquarium setting, coral reef background, bubble particle effects.
Losing: Player loses a life if their fish collides with a mad fish. Game ends when all lives are lost.
Scoring:
- Score increments every second the player has survived
- Additional bonus points scored for collecting power-ups like fish food (temporary speed boosts)
Graphics: Colorful 2D retro pixel art style animation for the fish and environment.
Sounds/Music: Upbeat tropical music. Funny cartoon “glug glug” sounds when mad fish catch the player’s fish.
Power-Ups: Fish food provides temporary increase in player’s speed and immunity to mad fish. Rare rainbow starfish multiply score bonus.
